Here are some patches that can be used in-conjunction with the MechCommander computer game.

Some of these files require WinZip to open correctly. Download this very popular utility by clicking on the icon at the bottom of the contents section to the left.

Hit the Reload/Refresh button on your browser after downloading a file.

File Description: The update to MechCommander

Instructions: This patch enables play on the Internet Gaming Zone and Internet play with foreign language versions. Do not be surprised if in the next multiplayer game you're in, your team-mate's chat looks like it is in a foreign language, because it might be.

It also addresses a few minor issues that most people have not and will not encounter, relating to low-end machines. MechCommander now recognises the MechCommander CD when in a CD-ROM drive mapped to the letter Z.

The patch simply replaces the MechCmdr.exe. All you have to do is download it and double click on Update.exe. It will unzip to your Windows temp directory and run the install from there.
